If you haven’t started looking online yet and don’t know where to start, let us know your requirements and we will do the best to match properties to you.
I want to re-sign for the property I currently live in, how can I do this?
No problem, you will need to stop by the office to sign the paperwork. Once this has been completed, we can take the property off the market.
My group and I have lectures and seminars at different times! We can’t find time to meet as a group to view houses. What should we do?
We are able to carry out viewings on evening and weekends when booked in advance so just let us know a time that suits you. If you still can’t make it as a group, don’t worry – we can do multiple viewings.
I am new to Leeds; I don’t know which area to live in?
We find that students who are looking for houses tend to search in Hyde Park & Headingley. However there are other areas such as Burley, Woodhouse and the City Centre. It all depends on your requirements, budget and how far you want to travel to Uni! Check out Unipol’s Guide on where to live in Leeds.
Once I have found the property I want, how do I secure it?
You will need to come into our office pay the deposit/signing fee and sign the paperwork. All our student tenants are required to provide:
Copy of their ID
Copy of their student card
UK Rental Guarantor
The house we want to sign for doesn’t have a bills inclusive option, but we really don’t want to deal with it ourselves. What can we do?
It is really simple to sort the bills out once you have worked out which suppliers you want to use. However, if you don’t want the hassle of sorting it there are companies such as ‘Huddle Utilities’ and ‘Split The Bills’ that offer bill packages designed for students so that you can make one easy payment and it will all be sorted for you.
Why not take a look into them and see if they can help you, then you don’t have to miss out on your perfect house. If they aren’t right for you, then continue searching for another house that offers inclusive bills – there’s plenty of time.
